ACT! Add-on Products

Delete Company Lookup

Delete all the Companies (and associated Divisions, if desired) in the current lookup of an ACT! database.

Do you have hundreds of old Companies in ACT! that you want to delete? Maybe you used a product to automatically create Companies from the Contact list... and it created way too many? Trying to get a clean start can be a daunting task. The problem is...

  • ACT! will only let you delete one Company at a time, and...
  • You can't delete a Company until you've deleted all of its associated Divisions.
Delete Company Lookup in ACT

Delete Company Lookup® can make your cleanup task so much easier and faster. Once you've created a lookup of Companies, simply select the Delete Company Lookup option from Companies menu and click [Delete] to remove those designated Company (and optionally, the associated Division) records from the ACT! database. It does NOT remove or delete the contacts who are members of the deleted groups. The Contact records remain intact - only their company association is removed.
