ACT Training Manuals

Cornerstone Solutions has been writing easy-to-understand software training for business people for almost 20 years (which means we started in the DOS days).

Our ACT user guides have a very simple and straightforward flow. A Description of each topic is displayed first. Following each "Description" is a step-by-step Procedure. (We would never bury this important information in a paragraph!)

After you have reviewed the basic information outlined in the "Procedure", you can try it out in the Mini-Exercise section. We have made an effort to ensure that no exercise is dependent upon the completion of a previous session. That way you can stop and start where you like or even skip around.

*ACT! Planning and Maintenance Guide
The Planning and Maintenance Guide is used as a setup tool to help you document your ACT! database design and installation project (it is not a training tool). It contains forms to use during the design phase, as well as documentation and forms to use with individual workstation setup. The manual also contains directions on how to perform minor maintenance functions (such as Check and Repair or a one-page handout you can give to your remote users on how to perform a regular sync). The Maintenance Manual is only sold as a site license in Microsoft Word format and sells for $175 US. It is a perfect companion to the ACT! Administrator courseware.

ACT! Site Licenses

A site license allows your company to have unlimited rights to modify, to rearrange, to edit (with your own custom screen shots), or to print copies for your own internal and/or customer use*. There is no time limitation imposed upon copying rights and no annual fees. The site license is priced at $900 and includes:

If you would like to additionally purchase the Customizing ACT! and Administering ACT! user guides in site license format, it would be an additional $650 for the combined set.

If you are an existing Cornerstone Site License owner, you may upgrade to the newest version for $300 for the Everyday course and $250 for the Admin/Customization set.
