Flags - I won't convert an older ACT! database without using this
tool. It is invaluable for analyzing an ACT! 5 or 6 database prior to conversion
to the newer codebase found in the current ACT version. The program analyzes
the state of readiness prior to conversion. It can even make some repairs

Swift Page Email - I wouldn't use ACT without this add-on. I use it to send out our ACT tips, our User Group announcements, our press releases, our product updates, birthday cards, thank you notes and more. This addon allows you to send out html emails to one contact or to over a thousand contacts, using the current lookup in your ACT! database. You don't have to update names with a listserv. It also records a history of the email sent and allows you to track who opened the emails. Works with older versions 5 (or 2000) and 6 (or 2004), as well as all of the newer versions. Take a look at Calendar View Plus if you would like to see separate calendars for selected contacts (not everyone's activities on the same calendar). Contact List Plus allows you to edit your contact information while in List View (don't you miss that from the earlier versions of ACT!?) as well as save your favorite custom List views for redisplay on command. While you are there, take a look at Task List Plus as well.
