My name is Susan Clark. I literally wrote the book on ACT! software. I'm the author of The Official ACT! Quick Study Guide (now in its 6th edition) which sells on ACT!'s home page.

I am a Sage Authorized Premiere Trainer and our courseware is used by many consultants in their training classes nationwide. In fact, I train and certify ACT! Certified Consultants for Sage (really…they hire me …they don't do it themselves).

In addition, I've been consulting with small to medium-sized businesses on their sales and marketing efforts for over 20 years (as well as with a Fortune 500 company every now and then). So, I know what works and what doesn't.

Easy to understand guides

I've always hated software documentation that says...
Click on the Exit command in the File
menu at the top of the screen.

Why can't they give you instructions in sequence, with a minimum of descriptive verbiage, like ...
Click File, Exit

And what about procedures that start with...
Click on the Format command.

...but they forgot to tell you that you need to be in the Design view to find that command?

I got tired of working with user guides like that and we have been writing our own since 1987. In any of our books you can pick and choose what sections you want to work with and dive right in. No section is ever dependent upon completing the previous section. Steps are clearly documented. We not only tell you how to do it, but why you would want to.

There is no time limitation imposed upon copying rights and no annual fees. The site license is priced at $900 and includes:
